John S. Williamson was 59 years of age at the time of his death. Was a native of Columbiana county, Ohio, but came to this township with his parents in the spring of 1853.

From infancy he has had poor eyesight, and about one year ago, he met with an accident which almost deprived him of the little sight he had.

In 1864 he married Penina Bundy, who is left to mourn the loss of a father and husband, both of whom were taken away within one week. Truly misfortunes never come singly. In this double sorrow, the bereaved widow has the sympathy of her friends and neighbors.
