DIED At West Branch, Iowa, Nov. 1st, 1883, of diphtheria, HARRY THEODORE, infant son of Oliver T. and Roxie D. Hammell, aged 1 year, 5 months and 8 days.

Faithful physicians and loving parents and friends united to drive back death's darkness, but the complications were too severe and the coming shadows were restless. On Wednesday there was hope, and on Thursday evening the light went out. Spotless as the day lily and as sweet, with life as brief, earthly beauty now destroyed by early frosts, the pure spirit now breathes its fragrance in the Home of God.
