21 July 1904 - West Branch Times

Harry Leroy, second son of Milton and Mary Vincent, was born April 20, 1886, in Cedar county, Iowa, and passed away from the earthly life to the heavenly one on the beautiful Sabbath morning of July 17, 1904, just as the glorious vista of young manhood was rising before him.

Harry was a kind-hearted boy, a trustworthy, faithful young man. He had a smile and a pleasant word for all whether he was bearing his full share of the strenuous part of farm labor or enjoying a fully appreciated holiday. He was a comfort to his father and mother for he was obedient and dependable. He was a kind and affectionate brother.

The estimation in which he was held by his neighbors and friends was shown by the beautiful flowers almost hiding the casket and the large concourse of people gathered at the home, and who followed the remains to the Presbyterian church where the services were conducted by the pastor, Rev. Brown, thence to the beautiful cemetery on the hill where he was laid to rest to await the resurrection mourn.

He leaves father, mother and two brothers to mourn his early death.
