The funeral of Harry Porter was held at Springdale yesterday at 2:00 P.M. He met his death by accidentally falling under a Northwestern train at Harvard, Illinois, in attempting to alight while the train was in motion.

Mr. Porter was well known in West Branch, having been employed on the West Branch Times for a number of years. The Times extends sympathy to the bereaved family.
