The death of Harvey Lodge, Sr., occurred Saturday, Oct. 12, at the age of 87 years, 5 months and 7 days. He was buried in the Downey cemetery Oct. 13, 1918.

Mr. and Mrs. Guy Sommers and family, Mrs. Leota Woodford and two children from DeWitt came over Sunday to attend the funeral of their grandfather, Harvey Lodge.

Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Dress and two children and Mrs. Owen Rogers of Iowa City attended the funeral Sunday of their grandfather.
