Ann Eliza Bailey, daughter of Jonathan and Jane Preston, was born April 25, 1854, in Columbiana county, Ohio and died at her home in Springdale, March 22, 1919, aged 64 years, 11 month and 3 days.

She was united in marriage to Lewis Bailey, August 12, 1880.

Mrs. Bailey's parents, one sister, Margaret, and three brothers, William Edgar, James and Amos, preceded her in death a few year years ago. Those living to mourn her loss are her husband and one brother, Geo. Preston, of Springdale.

Mrs. Bailey was a member of the Methodist church and remained faithful until death.

Funeral services were conducted at the Springdale M.E. church on Sunday afternoon by her pastor, Rev. G. J. Chalice, and interment was made in the Springdale cemetery.
