DIED At the home of his parents in Polk Co., Ia. Sunday morning February 5th, 1882, Little Wilsie son of T. E. and Susan A. Reeder, aged 12 years 9 months and 29 days. The deceased came here last Summer with his parents from Cedar Co. Ia. and had been attending school during the fall and winter. He was highly esteemed by his teacher and schoolmates. Death has again visited that family, and taken from it its brightest jewel. He was the youngest of the family, the joy of fond, affectionate parents, the pride of his loving sister, and brothers. Thus we see the merciless hand of the destroyer is laid upon the young and tender; buoyant with the prospect of a long and happy life; innocent of the world's strife and wickedness, so pure and sinless; so timid and unpretentious that he was known and appreciated only by those who know how to appreciate these qualities, these graces of a noble nature.
