18 March 1885 - The Local Record

Jennie, wife of G. L. Barnes died in Pasadena, Cal., on the 8th inst. The family went from this place to Cal. over a year ago, for the purpose of benefitting her health, but consumption, which was the hereditary form had gained a point beyond the arrest of mortals. She leaves a mourning husband and four children, who will probably return to West Branch.
