Daniel Murphy, 30, of Cedar Valley, died at a hospital at Iowa City Sunday. He was unmarried and had lived all his life on a farm at Cedar Valley.

He is survived by his mother, two sisters, Margaret and May, and a brother, James, all of Cedar Valley.

The funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the McGovern funeral home and burial was in St. Joseph's cemetery at Cedar Valley.
