Friends of Miss Ella Enlow were shocked to learn of her sudden death, from heart trouble, Saturday morning.

Miss Enlow had been ill for more than a year and for several months has had a companion to care for her, but her condition was not considered particularly critical and her death was entirely unexpected.

Mary Ella, third child of Luke and Cynthia Enlow, was born near Iowa Falls, Iowa, Nov. 29, 1864, and departed this life Nov. 7th, 1925.

She had resided in this community all her life with the exception of about four years. She is survived by one sister, Esther B. White of this place and one brother, Walter Enlow, of Iowa City, and their families. Father, mother, and two sisters preceded her in death.

She was a birthright member of the Friends church, in which she took an active and loyal part. She was especially interested in the Woman's Missionary Society and Ladies' Auxiliary, having served as treasurer of these for a number of years, besides other activities.

She cared for her father and mother during their declining years, lovingly and faithfully.

In November of last year she contracted a heavy cold from which she never fully recovered. She has been a patient sufferer and said she was resigned to the Lord's will.

She will be greatly missed by relatives, friends and neighbors because of her helpful ministrations.

Funeral services were held at the Friends church at 2:00 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, Rev. C. E. Roberts officiating. Burial was made in the West Branch cemetery.
