A letter received by friends of the family at this place announces the death of Joseph Coomb of Wildomar, Cal.; a former citizen of this place, which occurred on Wednesday, Oct. 3, while with Mrs. Coombs on a visit at the home of his son George in Riverside. He had been rendered almost entirely helpless for many yeas by a stroke of paralysis and it was a recurrence of this disease that finally took him peacefully away. His funeral was held on Sabbath afternoon, Oct. 7, 1900. Interment at Olivewood Cemetery, Riverside.
