Mrs. Augusta Walters Rowe passed away Saturday at 8:30 a.m. at her home at 3628 Sheridan street, Davenport, Iowa. Death was due to heart trouble.

Mrs. Rowe was born in Freeport, Illinois, and received her education in Keokuk, Iowa. After her marriage to George W. Walters the couple came to Cedar county, residing first near Bennett, and later near Buchanan. In 1908 they moved to Davenport, where Mr. Walters' death occurred on Oct. 23, 1914. In March, 1923 she was united in marriage to J. H. Rowe. Mrs. Rowe was a member of the M.B.A. Surviving her are the husband, one son J. C. Walters at home; one daughter, Mrs. H. L. Hall of Davenport; and one sister, Mrs. Lottie Rhoades of Sanborn, S. D. One brother, Amos Felson, preceded her in death nine years.

The body was taken to the Hill & Fredericks mortuary where funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Burial was made in the Buchanan cemetery.
