James Preston died at Springdale on Sunday Jan. 10, 1892 and was buried on Tuesday Jan. 12. He was born June 8, 1865, and in February, 1890, was married to Mary Grivel. He had been failing in health for a year or more. The services were conducted by W. S. Craft.
