The community was shocked to learn of the death of Mrs. Forest Krouth, early Monday morning, at the University hospital at Iowa City. Mrs. Krouth was 28 years old. She had been in poor health for some time, but was taken seriously ill Friday evening. Sunday it was decided best to take her to the hospital, and an operation was performed that evening for gall trouble, but many complications made her recovery impossible, and death claimed her early Monday morning.

Mrs. Krouth is survived by her husband and two sons, Junior 11, and Dale, a babe of five months.

Mrs. Forest Krouth died at the University Hospital, Iowa City, Monday morning, Oct. 19, at 3:30 o'clock, after an operation which followed a long illness.

Oma Wilson was a daughter of James and Margaret Wilson of Cedar Bluffs. She was born May 1, 1903, and at her death was in her 29th year.

Three brothers and four sisters, beside her father and mother, are among those left to mourn her death. They are Dallas, Moseph, Cyril, Geneva, Winifred, Edith and Sybil.

Oma was married to Forest Krouth, Sept. 17, 1919. There are two children, Forest Jr., 10, and Dale Owen, six months. These, with the husband are left to mourn the passing of the wife and mother.

Mrs. Krouth has been in ill health for a number of years, but tried to bear up and do her work bravely. She was a good mother and was a friend to many who were in need.

In early life she united with the Methodist church and was a member of the church at Tipton.

Funeral services were held at the Methodist church at West Branch at 2:00 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, conducted by the pastor, H. D. Green. Interment was made in the West Branch cemetery.
