DIED--On October 1, 1889, Eliza J., wife of James H. Lloyd and youngest child of Moses and Ann Gruwell.

Eliza J. Lloyd was born Feb. 21, 1860 in West Branch, Iowa. Attended school here, graduating with the class of 1878, and at the time of her death was president of the Alumni Association. On Oct. 2, 1886 she was married to James H. Lloyd and one little one is left to lose a mother's love and care. The funeral services were held in the Conservative Friends church conducted by Rev. W. S. Craft, of the M.E. church
