Last Sunday witnessed the burial here of Mrs. Dr. T. B. Kent of Center Junction. She had been a sufferer from Bright's disease for two months, from which she died on Friday, April 26th, aged 45 years. Her life was begun near Clarence and her remains are now at rest in the Clarence cemetery. Her maiden name was Mary Cassie, and her people resided west of town many years ago. She was married to Dr. T. B. Kent on Christmas day, 1876, and to them were born three children who now survive together with their father: Bert, age 23 years; Jessie, 19, and Mary 11. The funeral was held at Center Junction at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday; and the remains brought here on Sunday morning, accompanied by a large number of friends for so great a distance.
