Funeral services for Mrs. William (Helen) Eiselstein, 49, were held at the First Presbyterian church, Wheatland, Sept. 8 with the Rev. Keith Sorensen officiating. Burial was in the Massillon cemetery.
Mrs. Eiselstein died at Lutheran hospital, Moline, IL Sept. 5 following a month-long illness.
The daughter of Arthur and Orpha Harmison DeJoode, she was born at Runnells Feb. 19, 1934. She graduated from Runnells high school. She was married to William Eiselstein at Tipton Sept. 18, 1952. The couple have farmed near Wheatland for 15 years.
She is survived by her husband, 2 daughters, Mrs. Marvin (Cheryl) Hintz, Wheatland and Melissa, at home and 2 sons, Steven, Wilton and Dennis, Wheatland; 2 grandsons; her mother, Orpha DeJoode, Runnells; 7 sisters, Mrs. William (Barbara) McGreen, Altoona; Mrs. Stanley (Norma) Wyant, Carlisle; Mrs. David (Marion) Adams, Runnells; Mrs. Trudy Pelan, Topeka, KS; Mrs. Marvin (Beverly) Pearson and Mrs. Larry (Caroline) Richeson, Des Moines and Mrs. Richard (Phyllis) Connett, Freeport, IL and 4 brothers, William and Ronald DeJoode, Des Moines and Donald DeJoode, Denver, CO. She was preceded in death by her father.
