Rev. Karl Fauth and Victory Post No. 286 had charge of graveside funeral services Monday at 10:30 a.m. for Anna Griep, age 69, former Clarence resident and a world war nurse who enlisted and served at Camp Grant, Ill., until her honorable discharge after the war in 1918. She died Saturday, June 13th in a Veterans hospital at Excelsior Springs, Mo., after an illness of four years. Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. John Griep, residents of Clarence twenty-five years ago. A sister, Mrs. Amelia King and her two daughters of Anita, accompanied the remains here for burial.
