Funeral services were held at the home of A. M. McCormick in Tipton, Monday afternoon at four o'clock for Alexander McCormick, age 59 years, and a well known Tipton resident his entire life. Rev. H. N. Poston, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, officiated, and interment was made in the family lot in the Masonic cemetery near Tipton.

Alexander McCormick, Jr., son of the late Alexander and Margaret McCormick, was born in Tipton, Iowa, Sept. 14, 1873 and passed away July 9, 1932. Had he lived until September he would have been 59 years of age.

Being handicapped from early childhood, he has throughout his life had bestowed upon him the most devoted love and care of the members of his family.

Since the death of his mother six years ago he has lived in the home of his brother Andrew where the tenderest care made him happy and contented until his sudden death at 7:30 Saturday evening.

Those who survive him are his two brothers, W. G. McCormick, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and A. M. McCormick of Tipton; one sister, Jane of Tipton; two nieces, Mrs. John Vaughn, of Cedar Rapids, and Martha Jane McCormick, of Tipton; also many loyal friends whose efforts to make him happy were always appreciated.
