Death of Mrs. W. D. Clapp - Mrs. William D. Clapp died at her home in St. Paul, Minn., January 19th. The interment was in the Masonic cemetery in Tipton, January 22nd, the remains being accompanied here by her son Edwin S. Clapp and his son. Funeral services at the M.E. church Wednesday afternoon were attended by numbers of the old time Tipton friends of the family. The deceased was a member of an early day Tipton family. Mr. Clapp was a builder and contractor and associated in the work with J. H. Ripley. At one time he served as mayor of the city. The family left here nearly forty years ago.
