Died At the home of her father, Mr. P. Ayers, of Ayersville, Saturday, October 20th, 1894, Lena Lenora Ayers, aged 13 years, 4 months and 9 days.

The deceased met her death by the sad accident of a severe kick from a vicious horse, which fractured her skull and rendered her unconscious for several hours, after which she peacefully and triumphantly passed away on Oct. 20, 1894. The funeral services were held Sunday at Moneka church and were conducted by Rev. A. H. Martin, of Bennett, and at which a large concourse of people gathered to pay their tribute of respect and love to one so young and true. Peace to her remains and blessings to the sorrowing. The deceased was converted, had followed Christ in baptism and had lived a faithful member of Moneka church until her death.
