Funeral services for Mrs. E. W. (Bernice Beinke) Cole were conducted Dec. 20 at Wilton Junction by the Rev. Homer G. Perry.

Mrs. Mildred Gregory was organist. Pallbearers were Richard Beinke, Norman Maurer, Randall Hansen, Jack Kress, Steve Beinke and Ronald Kress. Burial was at Oakdale cemetery.

Mrs. Cole, 50, a lifelong resident of Wilton Junction, died Thursday night at her home after an extended illness.

She was born Aug. 2, 1915 in Cedar county, a daughter of Henry and Elizabeth Jensen Beinke. She was married to E. W. (Bill) Cole at Wilton Junction, Sept. 12, 1945. Mrs. Cole was a member of the United Church of Christ.

Surviving are her husband, 4 children, William, Stanley, Sandra and Beth Ann at home; 3 brothers, Clarence, Earl and Harlan Beinke, of Wilton Junction; and six sisters, Mrs. Lillie Maurer, Mrs. Fred (Lulu) Maurer, Mrs. Roy (Clarinda) Kress, and Mrs. Ernest (Erna) Hansen and Mrs. Donald (Marvella) Holmes, all of Wilton Junction, and Mrs. Joe (Lorena) Kress of Clarence.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers.
