Alma Coe Blazek, daughter of Joseph and Mathilda Coe, was born in Nashua, Iowa, on Oct. 10, 1879.

On December 23, 1911, she was united in marriage to Joseph Blazek. They made their home in Cedar Rapids for a short time, then moved to West Branch, where they lived until 1927. She lived in Willow, Alaska for two years and then returned to Tipton.

She passed away Sunday morning June 5, 1955, after a long illness. She is survived by one son, Lawrence Blazek of Spenard, Alaska; one daughter, Beatrice Lukemyres, and one grandson, Charles Lukemyers Jr., of Tipton and one brother Lou Coe, of Mason City, Iowa.

Funeral services were conducted at the Sheets & Dahn funeral home Tuesday afternoon, June 7, at 2 p.m. with Rev. A. C. Long officiating. Interment was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.
