Mrs. Frances Rauth Schorr, 80, widow of Henry Schorr and long time resident here, died at the home of her son Pete Schorr, at Stockton, Wednesday at 8:00 A.M. of infirmities due to her age, after months of failing health. Born in Madison county, Ill., Aug. 1851, but for many years lived on a farm in Cedar county, moving here 31 years ago. Surviving are two sons Peter of Stockton and William of Muscatine, a daughter, Mrs. Anna Wilkerson of Wilton, four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. A son Henry preceded her in death. Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Grace Reformed church with the Rev. J. M. Newgard in charge. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Barclay, Mrs. Fern Cole and Clarence Lenker with Miss Vera Newgard at the organ, sang. Flower attendants were Mrs. Harry Marolf, Mrs. E. M. Lenker, Mrs. Ivan Sterner and Mrs. T. A. Hill were flower attendants. H. Wildasin acted as usher.
