Hulda Amanda Sophie Griesbach, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Griesbach, died Monday morning at 1:30 o'clock of scarlet fever, after having been down with scarlet fever a week. She was born on July 1st, 1908, so she got to be only 3 years, 7 months and 12 days old. She was one of a pair of twins.

All of Mr. and Mrs. Griesbach's children, four in number, took down with scarlet fever; three of them are on good road of recovery, but little Hulda was very severely affected from the start, with a steady high fever the disease became too much for the little one. She passed away, leaving the grief-stricken parents and two sisters and one brother, and many other near relatives to mourn her early departure.

At five o'clock Monday evening they buried the child in the Lowden cemetery. All here sympathize deeply with the bereaved parents.
