Ernest Gade, the little son of Mr. and Mrs. August Gade, died Thursday, May 2, 1912, at their home in East Lowden of stomach and bowel trouble, having been sick only four days. Little Ernest was born on July 29, 1911, and the Angel of Death took him when he was only nine months and three days old.

Funeral was held Saturday afternoon with services in the Evangelical church and interment in the Lowden cemetery. A great many relatives and friends attended the services at the church which were conducted by Rev. F. Werning. The pall bearers were Leo Dircks, Hugo Gehrls, Georgie Rix and Carl Richmann. All here sympathize deeply with the bereaved parents.
