Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Goldsmith, 83, Clarence, will be held at 1:30 p.m. today (Nov. 4), in St. John's United Church of Christ with the Rev. Calvin Schumacher officiating. Music will be provided by the church choir with Mrs. Robert Hasselbusch at the organ. Burial is in St. John's cemetery.

Pallbearers are George Meier, Leo Resewehr, Forest Woode, Wilbert Stolte, Herman Hunwardsen and Howard Thein. In charge of floral tributes are Mrs. Forest Woode and Mrs. Laurena Lovell.

Mrs. Goldsmith died at the Clarence Nursing home Nov. 1 after an extended illness.

Emma Horstmann was born Jan. 7, 1888 at Luwitz, Germany, coming to this country when she was 4 years old. She was married to William Goldsmith Sept. 29, 1904 at Clarence. She was the last charter member of the Royal Neighbors Rosewood Camp 5398.

Survivors are 2 daughters, Mrs. Karl Schnipkoweit, Clarence and Mrs. Gloria Greve, Springville; 3 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren and 2 sisters, Mrs. Carl Lehrman, Stanwood and Mrs. Augusta Siefert, Clinton.
