19 April 1912 - The Lowden News

Fred Buesching was born in Musleringen, Province of Hannover, Germany, February 15, 1859. He died at his home northeast of Stanwood, April 16, 1912, age 53 years, 2 months and one day.

In November 1882, he came to this country and the following spring was married to Miss Caroline Biere. They have lived in Dayton township ever since, having bought the farm known as the "Boling home farm", some fifteen years ago. Mr. Buesching was an industrious farmer, kind, conscientious and square in all his dealings, a good sociable neighbor and a kind and loving husband and father. His presence will not only be missed in home, but his entire circle of acquaintances feel the loss of an honest man and good citizen. Mr. Buesching has been in poor health for over a year. The direct cause of his death was abscess of the lungs. There survive his demise, his widow, one son, Henry, at home, four daughters, Mrs. Emma Koth of Massillon Twp., Caroline, Minnie, and Frieda, at home.

The funeral services were held at the German Evangelical church at Clarence yesterday morning and were conducted by Rev. Hansen. Interment was in the German cemetery. The profusion of beautiful flowers was a silent token of the high esteem in which he was held.
