Final rites for Mrs. Anna Louise Marie Thien, 86, were held at the Dye funeral home Sept. 29 with the Rev. E. H. Lauer officiating. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Pallbearers were Harold and Marvin Muesing, Norbert Ebert, Arnold and Wilbur Conrad and Melvin Thien. George Thordsen was vocalist and Mrs. Arnold Swan organist. Mrs. William Dinse and Mrs. Donald Ruther were in charge of flowers.

Mrs. Thien died at her home in Tipton Sept. 26.

The daughter of William and Emma Goldelmann Ebert, she was born Feb. 28, 1885 near Clarence and was educated in the rural schools of the area. She was married to George H. Thien March 5, 1908 near Clarence.

A lifetime resident of the Clarence and Tipton vicinity, she was a member of First United Church of Christ at Tipton.

She is survived by 4 sons, Lester Dietrich William, Leo Albert and Lloyd Robert, all of Tipton and Lorence Christ, Clarence; 2 daughters, Mrs. Lilly Margaret Brady, Tipton and Mrs. Lulu Louise Wilhelmine Clark, New York City; a brother, William Ebert, Wickenburg, Ariz.; a sister, Mrs. Emma Muesing, Tipton; 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, a sister, 2 brothers and 2 grandchildren.
