Funeral services for Mrs. James Burroughs, 84, Tipton, were held July 26 at First United Church of Christ, Tipton, with the Rev. Calvin Schumacher officiating. Burial was in the Springville cemetery.

Mrs. Burroughs died at Cedar Manor July 24 following a long illness.

Edith Gritman was born March 10, 1886 at Springville the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dilman Gritman. She was married to Mr. Burroughs there Oct. 5, 1910.

She is survived by her husband; a son-in-law, Vernon Gingerick, Eau Claire, Wis., and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Dorothy; a sister and brother.
