Robert James Paulsen died June 1 at his home in Stanwood at the age of 12. Robert had been afflicted with muscular dystrophy for many years.

The funeral services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the United Methodist church, Stanwood. The Rev. James Nelson will be officiating. Music will be provided by the church women's trio accompanied by Mrs. Edward Speer. Sheets and Son are in charge of the arrangements.

He attended school at Lincoln his first years and then when unable to attend school, he had his schooling at home.

He attended Sunday school and was baptized in May 1959 at the United Methodist church in Stanwood.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Paulsen and 2 sisters, Joan and Karen, both at home, grandfather, Burr Aylsworth, Stanwood and many other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by one brother, Donald and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry J. Paulsen and grandmother, Mrs. Gladys Aylsworth.

Burial will be at the Olin cemetery.
