Mechanicsville - Funeral services for Harry E. Henderson, 76, Cedar Rapids, were held April 27 at 3 p.m. in the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories, Cedar Rapids. The Rev. Arnold Herbst, St. Paul's United Methodist church, Cedar Rapids, officiated. Burial was in Cedar Memorial cemetery. Mr. Henderson died early Sunday morning following a long illness.

Harry E. Henderson was born Nov. 22, 1894 in Cedar county. He farmed in the community until he retired and moved to Cedar Rapids in 1943. He was preceded in death by his wife, Fay Marquart Henderson, in 1952, and second wife, Rose Kendall Henderson in 1968.

Mr. Henderson was a member of IOOF Grand Lodge of Iowa, Des Moines and the Eagles and Senior Men's club, Cedar Rapids.

He is survived by 3 daughters, Mrs. Roger Ackley and Mrs. Elza Yates, both of Cedar Rapids, and Mrs. Jack Baldwin, Village, Okla. Also a brother, Harlan, Olin and sisters, Mrs. Clyde Hefflefinger and Mrs. Vera Dauber, both of Cedar Rapids, and 9 grandchildren.
