Mechanicsville - Funeral services for Juanita Elizabeth Goben, 48, were held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Horner's Funeral home with the Rev. Ralph B. Colton, Cedar Rapids, officiating.

Miss Goben died Sunday at University hospitals, Iowa City, following a short illness.

Pat Koch, Mark Colton, Stephen McKee, Daniel Koch, David Bammert and Robert Hughes, all nephews of the deceased, were pallbearers. Burial was in Rose Hill cemetery.

Juanita E. Goben was born Feb. 28, 1922 the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bammert. She lived most of her life in Cedar Rapids, the past few years at Marion. She was a member of the Calvin-Sinclair United Presbyterian church, Cedar Rapids.

She is survived by her parents, a brother, Melvin Bammert, Cedar Rapids and 5 sisters, Mrs. William (LaVerna) Koch, Mechanicsville; Mrs. Marvin (Lois) Colton, Centerville; Mrs. Donald (Bonnie) Hughes, Martelle; Mrs. Stanley (Myrna) McKee, Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Dennis (Nancy) Kupps, Cedar Rapids. Also surviving are 20 nieces and nephews and one great nephew. A niece preceded her in death.
