Final rites for Rudolph C. Hinrichs, 65, were held at Peace Church of Christ United, Bennett, Aug. 19, with the Rev. Paul C. Jordan officiating. Burial was in Inland cemetery.

Pallbearers were Verle Kleppe, John and Bernhardt Stuehm, Norman Hinrichs, Vingene Martens and Dallas Mayerhofer. Mrs. Leroy Wiese, Mrs. John Stuehm and Mrs. Bernhardt Stuehm were in charge of flowers. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Riedesel were vocalists and Mrs. Riedesel was organist.

Mr. Hinrichs died at University hospitals, Iowa City, Aug. 17, following an extended illness.

The son of August and Sophia Conrad Hinrichs, he was born near Bennett March 4, 1907, and was educated in the rural schools of the county. He was married to Estella Petersen at Bennett Feb. 26, 1930. A retired farmer, he had been superintendent of the Cedar county park near Bennett.

He was a member of Peace Church of Christ United and the church board.

Mr. Hinrichs is survived by his wife, a son, Ronald, Bettendorf; 3 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Ernest (Selma) Von Roden, Lowden and a foster sister, Esther Wiggers, Rock Island, Ill.
