Last rites for Ralph Charles Becker, 60, were held at the United Presbyterian church, Mechanicsville, Sept. 1 with the Rev. Norman Lawton officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill cemetery. Pallbearers were Raymond, Tom and John Beckman and Richard, Charles and David Becker.

Mr. Becker died at his home in Mechanicsville Aug. 29.

The son of John S. and Daisy Hancock Becker, he was born near Mechanicsville Aug. 14, 1913 and attended the Mechanicsville high school.

He was married to Zanita Arnold at Tipton Feb. 16, 1936. A carpenter, he spent his life in the Mechanicsville area. He was a member of the Presbyterian church.

Mr. Becker is survived by his wife, 3 daughters, Mrs. Robert (Florence) Dauber, Mechanicsville; Mrs. James (Martha) Thompson, Moline, Ill. and Mrs. Brian (Linda) Pledger, Wanchese, N. C.; his mother, Mrs. Daisy Becker, Mechanicsville, a sister, Martha, Cedar Rapids, a brother, Forest, Olin and 4 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and 2 brothers.
