Mechanicsville - Funeral services for Mrs. John Wall, 55, were held in St. Mary's Catholic church Jan. 6. The Rev. P. J. Casey offered the Mass.

Jimmy O'Meara, John Strief, Stan Kohl, Tom Locher, Dick Bower and Ronnie Wall were pallbearers with burial in Rose Hill cemetery. The Horner Funeral service was in charge.

Mrs. Wall died Jan. 3 in Mercy Hospital, Cedar Rapids. She was taken there by the Mechanicsville ambulance the evening of Dec. 2. She had been in failing health for several years.

Anna Mae Wall was born May 21, 1917 at Farley, the daughter of William and Rose Anne (Hill) O'Meara. She was married to John W. Wall at Farley July 12, 1934. They lived in Farley and Dubuque county prior to moving to the Mechanicsville area. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church.

Mrs. Wall is survived by her husband, John; 3 sons and 3 daughters, Mrs. Harry (Jane) Melchert, Olin; Robert Wall, Galesburg, Ill.; Mrs. James (Rose Mary) Lang, Yorktown, Va.; Mrs. Donavan (Joyce) Dierks, Hiawatha, James Wall, Cedar Rapids and John Wall, Iowa City.

Also 4 sisters, Frances O'Meara, Mrs. Rose Bower and Mrs. Calista Yahn, all of Dubuque and Mrs. L. R. Locher, Farley; 3 brothers, James, Leo and John O'Meara, all of Farley and 22 grandchildren.

Her parents and 2 brothers preceded her in death.
