Funeral services for Mrs. Henrietta C. Williams of Tipton, were conducted Saturday, May 3, 1952, at the Presbyterian church in Tipton with Rev. Raymon Ferguson officiating, and interment in Red Oak cemetery. Sheets funeral home was in charge of the service.

Henrietta C. Williams was born December 17, 1865, near Mechanicsville, Iowa, and passed away at her home in Tipton, Thursday, May 1, 1952, at the age of 85 years, 4 months and 14 days. She was one of eight children born to James and Catherine McCormick. She attended the Mechanicsville schools.

She was united in marriage to James Williams at Mechanicsville in 1891 and they made their home on a farm northwest of Tipton for a number of years, then moved to Tipton, where she has lived until her death. She has been cared for by her niece, Mrs. Carr Todd, for the last nine years.

She was a very faithful member of the First Presbyterian church.

Her husband preceded her in death in 1925. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Josephine Moffitt, of Bay City, Mich., a brother, C. A. McCormick of Mechanicsville, and a number of nieces and nephews; also a host of friends and neighbors, who will miss her greatly.
