William F. Wulf, 73, retired Cedar county farmer and a resident of Davenport for the past 11 years, died at 11:15 a.m. Sunday, at his home, 524 West Fourteenth street, following a lingering illness. The body was removed to Runge mortuary where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Durant cemetery.

Mr. Wulf was born in Germany, Sept. 24, 1872, and received his education in his native land. He came to America in 1892. He was married to Miss Mary Behrens, Dec. 5, 1893. They resided for a number of years on a farm in Cedar county, later moved to New Liberty, moving to Davenport in 1934. He was a member of the German American Pioneer association and the Modern Woodmen of America.

He is survived by his wife, four sons, Henry of New Liberty; William J. of Donahue, Charley of Bennett; and Arnold at home; four daughters, Mrs. William Syring, Bennett; Mrs. Louise Lamaack, Durant; Mrs. Louis Sebelein, Durant, and Mrs. Ralph Holling of Wilton, 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Agnes Ramm of Durant. Two sisters preceded him in death.
