Funeral services for Norman Dale Techau, 74, a native of Clarence, were held at the United Methodist church, Lisbon, Nov. 1 with the Rev. Dave Nolte officiating. Burial was in the Lisbon cemetery. A Norman Techau Memorial Fund has been established at P.O. Box 803, Lisbon.

Mr. Techau died at his home in Lisbon Oct. 28.

A twin son of Charles and Emma Ihns Techau, he was born at Clarence Oct. 27, 1914. He graduated from Clarence high school in 1932. He married Dorothy Koch in 1934. They were later divorced. He married Sharon Boxwell at Lisbon Sept. 5, 1959. He worked at elevators in Lisbon, Stanwood and Mechanicsville.

He is survived by his wife; 4 sons, Michael and Keith, Lisbon; Roger, Duluth, Minn. and Ronald, Chicago, Ill.; 7 daughters, Michelle Smith, Enid, Okla.; Joanne Yeater, Virginia Wilson and Beverly Hartl, Marion; Sandra Fields, Lost Nation; Nancy, Phoenix, Ariz. and Linda Becker, Cedar Rapids; a twin brother, Raymond, Grand Mound; 2 sisters, Irene Cain, Stanwood and Myrtle Taylor, Maquoketa; 25 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
