Mechanicsville - Clarence (Dutch) Kline, 68, died at his home in Mechanicsville June 29 following a lengthy illness. Funeral services were held this afternoon (Thursday) at 2 p.m. in the First Presbyterian church with Pastor Gallaher officiating.

Mrs. Leroy Wendt was vocalist accompanied by Mrs. E. H. Littig.

Clarence Kline was born the son of William H. and Mary Kohl Kline on Jan. 17, 1896. He was married to Theola Farnham in Cedar Rapids, March 24, 1925. They farmed until 10 years ago when they retired and moved to Mechanicsville.

Mr. Kline was a member of the First Presbyterian church.

He is survived by his wife, four brothers and one sister.

John Nie, Everett Ferguson, Kenneth Montz, Joe Paidar, Adolph Ahrens and Harold Streets were pall bearers. Arthur Vanderbilt, Frank Thomson, Emil Dahl and Ronnie Albaugh were honorary pall bearers. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery. Horners Funeral Service in charge.
