Stanwood - Funeral services for Iman Wells, 81, were held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Sheets Funeral Home, Tipton, with Rev. Eugene Miller of the Tipton Methodist church in charge.

Iman Wells was born April 13, 1883 the son of William and Virginia Bledsoe Wells. He was married May 4, 1904 to Elta May Branham at Albany, Ky. They moved to Iowa about 45 years ago, living first at Mechanicsville and then moving to Stanwood.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Iman Wells; daughters, Mrs. Charles (Pauline) Davis, New Castle, Ind.; Mrs. Donald (Gladys) Reeder, Tipton; Mrs. Harry (Geneva) Kintz, West Branch; and Mrs. Gale (Maxine) Long, Yakima, Wash.

Also surviving are sons, Jesse, Apache Junction, Ariz.; Eldrick, Scottsdale, Ariz.; and Earl of Stanwood; a brother, Joe, Berksville, Ky.; and 21 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Charles Davis, Jr., William Davis, Price Martin, Kenneth Proesch, George Heick and Will Dinse.

Mrs. Price Martin and Mrs. George Heick were in charge of the flowers. Interment was in the Tipton cemetery.
