From last week's Bennett Opinion: On Saturday morning, May 9th, at 5 o'clock, Mrs. Marie Louise Wilhelmine Schlueter died at the home of her son, Friederich Schlueter, of York Prairie, at the age of 84 years, 3 months and 4 days.

Deceased was born in Estorf Province, Hanover, Germany. In 1849 she was married to Friederich Schlueter. To this union five children were born, two having preceded their mother in death.

In 1884 they came to America and settled in Cedar Co. In 1895 Mr. Schlueter died, since then she made her home with her son, Friederich.

She leaves to mourn her death, one son, Friederich Schlueter, two daughters, Wilhelmine Dresshaus and Dorothea Schweizer, two stepdaughters, Lena Schmidt and Sophie Conrad, and eighteen grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren, besides her many friends.

The funeral was held Monday afternoon from the residence of Friederich Schlueter, Rev. Aug. Satory officiating. Interment in Inland cemetery.
