Alma, the little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Schaefer, died at their home two miles northwest of Lowden of February 4th, after but a short ailment, at the age of one year, four months and twenty-two days. She having been born on September 12th, 1909. All here sympathize deeply with the bereaved parents.

Funeral occurred Tuesday with services in the Evangelical church. Rev. Werning conducted the services. Four girls were pall bearers, namely: Gerdie Kroemer, Alma Gade, Elizabeth Baborski and Alma Schlueter. There was a large attendance at the funeral and the several floral tributes were beautiful. The little one was buried at the Lowden cemetery.
