Death summoned Mrs. Bertha Stanfield Wednesday morning this week, at the Thurston nursing home where she had been living. She was born at Kinmundy, Ill. and was 71 years of age. Her husband is Joe Stanfield of Tipton.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday forenoon at the Sheets funeral home, the Rev. Mr. Long of the Methodist church officiating. Burial will be in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.
