Cedar Rapids - Ella E. Strauser Weddle, 101, widow of Waldo Weddle, died Sunday in Cedar Rapids, where she has made her home for many years. She was the youngest of six children.

Mrs. Weddle was born June 25, 1864, in Mechanicsville and was married Nov. 11, 1885. The couple lived for many years in Stanwood, where Mr. Weddle died Feb. 18, 1936.

There are no immediate survivors. The couple had no children. Some nephews and nieces survive.

She was a member of the Olivet Presbyterian church, south of Mechanicsville.

Memorial services at Turner chapel Tuesday at 10:30 a.m., Dec. 28, by the Rev. Roger Patton. Burial Rose Hill cemetery in Mechanicsville.
