Funeral services for Mrs. Julia C. Jicha, 76, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11 at the Sheets and Son Funeral home, with the Rev. Dean Swartzendruber in charge. Burial will be in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Pallbearers are George Worsham, Carl Bair, Chalmer Keller, Lloyd Meyer, Carl Frederick and Alba Gaul. Laura Geller is organist and Mrs. Mark Kelly, Esther Dolge and Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Wagner will be in charge of flowers. The Friendship circle of Kings Daughters are honorary pallbearers.

Mrs. Jicha died Nov. 8 at Mercy hospital in Cedar Rapids after a short illness.

The daughter of Wesley and Anna (Baxa) Kadera, she was born Nov. 10, 1888 at Solon and was educated in the Johnson county schools.

She was married to James Jicha Feb. 14, 1912. She had lived in Solon since 1914.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Lillyan Tenley, Tipton; a granddaughter, Carol Jean Tenley; 3 brothers, Raymond Kadera, Marion; Wesley Kadera, Lisbon and Milo Kadera, Portland, Oreg.; 3 sisters, Mrs. Warren (Alma) Brannaman and Mrs. Bert (Lizzie) Brannaman, both of Lisbon and Mrs. Paul (Nellie) Hamer, Cedar Rapids.

She was preceded in death by her husband, 2 sisters and 2 brothers.
