Mechanicsville - Funeral services were held today (Thurs.) for Mrs. Doris Stout, 62. Rev. James Nelson officiated at the service in the Methodist church at 1:30 p.m.

Mrs. Stout died in St. Luke's hospital, Cedar Rapids, early Tuesday, Sept. 14, after being a patient there for 4 weeks.

Doris Alvina Lampa was born the daughter of Paul and Mary Ann Lampa on October 24, 1902. She graduated from the Mechanicsville High School and was a member of the Methodist church. On January 31, 1931, she was married to LeRoy Stout.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Glenn (Mary Jane) Oldorf, Cedar Rapids; sisters Hallie Lampa, Tipton; Carolyn Chapman, Minneapolis, Minn.; and Mrs. Bertha Feddersen, Cedar Rapids. Also several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Lampa, and a brother, Henry Lampa.

Dillon Jones, Paul Bowers, Gene Hoffman, Mearle Weber, Elwood Rhoads and Robert Stork were pallbearers.

Burial in Rose Hill cemetery. Horner Funeral Home in charge.
