Lowden - Funeral services for Mrs. Leona Meier, 55, who died at the University hospital, Iowa City, were held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church.

The Rev. Theodore Hinck, DeWitt, officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Music was furnished by the church choir with Mrs. Lorenz Hoffmeier, organist. Mrs. Melvin Riedesel and Mrs. James Leeper were in charge of flowers.

Pallbearers were Melvin Clemmens, Melvin Riedesel, William Schroeder, Melvin Collins, Herb Goldsmith and John Stock.

Leona Frahm was born Jan. 21, 1910, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Frahm, Tipton. She was married to Ewald Meier, Dec. 28, 1948, at Rock Island, Ill. They resided in Lowden until his death in 1963.

Survivors are 4 brothers, Freeman, Norman, Erwin and Neil Frahm, all of Clarence.
