Bennett, Iowa - Mrs. Fred C. Marble, 70, died at 11:30 p.m. Friday in her home here after an extended illness.

She was born in Indianapolis, Ind., and married Fred C. Marble in Burlington, Iowa, July 1, 1908.

Surviving are her husband, who for many years was publisher of the Bennett Gazette; a sister, Mrs. E. H. Snyder of Cedar Rapids, and two step sons, Fred of Peoria, and Robert of Springfield, Illinois.

The body was taken to the McCormick funeral home in Tipton where rites were held Monday. Burial was in the Aspen Grove cemetery, Burlington, Iowa.
