Mechanicsville - Funeral services for Albert I. Kruger, 67, Mechanicsville, were held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Morgan Funeral home, Lisbon. Rev. P. J. Casey officiated with burial in St. John's cemetery, Lisbon.

Mr. Kruger died Jan. 26 at Mercy hospital, Cedar Rapids. He had been ill about 6 months.

He was born at Duff, Ind., Oct. 6, 1898, son of Louis and Frances Hoffman Kruger. He attended parochial schools in Huntinburg, Ind. He married Amber Hines Nov. 11, 1930, at Cedar Rapids, and had been a Mechanicsville resident since 1950.

In his youth, he worked for the American Telephone and Telegraph, but worked as an electrician in various Cedar Rapids manufacturing plants prior to his retirement in 1963. He was affiliated with St. Mary's church and the United Electrical Workers, AFL-CIO.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Larry, Cedar Rapids; 2 granddaughters, 3 brothers, Earl and Irwin, Huntinburg, Ind., and Carl of Jasper, Ind., and a sister, Mrs. Joe Scenele, Jasper, Ind.

Pallbearers included Dale Hines, Paul Hines, Roger Hines and William Wagaman.
